My mom tells me I’ve been singing since I was in the 3^rd grade and that I use to always want to lead during Sunday School.  Of course, I don’t remember any of that.  I have always loved to sing and sang in the church choir for a number of years during Junior High and High school.  While in High School I sang in the A Capella Choir and also in an Ensemble Choir that would perform at various functions.  We traveled one year to Georgetown, TX to perform at a restaurant called the Matterhorn.   
 

When I graduated from High School, I stopped singing for quite sometime (with the exception of one wedding for a friend) and didn’t pick it back up until about 6 years ago when I started singing at church again.  Since then I have sung several solos for different programs and a wedding.  I also starting singing karaoke about 4 years ago and became addicted.  I sing every Monday night at my favorite stomping ground.  That’s where I met Guy and we became friends.  When he decided to start Nine1Nine, he asked if I would like to sing back up vocals.  I have to admit at my age, I was a bit nervous about joining a band, but I’m having a great time (they even let me sing a few lead songs now and again. LOL).   
 

I’m looking forward to getting out and doing more gigs and am excited at the possibilities that lie ahead.
